OpenAI API Setup

Steps to Configure

1. OpenAI API Key

• Enter your API key from OpenAI in the provided field.
• To get your key, click on the OpenAI link next to the field and log in to your OpenAI account.

• Paste the key in the input box.

⚠️ Keep your API key secure. Do not share it publicly.

2. OpenAI Model

• Select the OpenAI model to use for generating responses.
• Example: GPT 4.1 is selected by default.
• Different models may provide various levels of accuracy, speed, and cost. Select the option that best suits your use case.

3. OpenAI Embedding Model

• Choose an embedding model for generating text embeddings (useful for search, knowledge bases, and semantic understanding).
• Smaller models are faster and cheaper, while larger ones provide higher accuracy.

Notes

• You must have an active OpenAI account with API credits to use these features.
• If your API key is invalid or expired, WpEazyAI’s features will not work until a valid key is provided.
• You can change the model selection anytime depending on your project’s needs.
